The Canon 1Ds Mark III is a spitting
image of the Mark II when it comes too design. The difference in the
two is in the upgraded image censor that gives you 21 megapixels! The
camera also has many other added features that will really make your
job as a photographer much easier.
Canon's main aim for this camera was
too attract those professional photographers who are yet too get a digital SLR camera a chance. This camera features many things that
will appeal to any photographers. Like the live view mode where you
just push one button and the 3-inch lcd turns into your eye
piece. The feature also lets you magnify the image two times with the
push
of a button, for better manual focusing capabilities.
The camera also
has wi-fi capabilities and this is great because you can plug a GPS
into your wi-fi base which is also connected to the camera and with
every photo you take the GPS location is recorded as well. The really
big thing this camera has the previous Mark II didn't is the Full- frame CMOS
image sensor that gives you 21 megapixels.
The camera is powered by a Lithium-Ionbattery that is lightweight and can shoot up to 1800 shots at normal
temperatures. The all-around design of the camera body is very
similar too the Mark II, except for the new buttons that accommodate
the added features. If you've never held a Mark II or III the camera
fits well in your hands and when lenses are added the camera is still
well balanced. Just the body of the camera weighs 2.6 pounds so it
being able too be balanced with an added lens is a feat of its own.
This camera is for professionals with a
price of $ 6999.00 you can see why. This camera has great power and
takes amazing photographs. The only problem is the price is pretty
steep but bigger price tags always come with the best you can get. |
